The violinist trio known as Trilogy (Hrachya Avanesayan, Lorenzo Gatto & Yossif Ivanov) approached Digital Golem and Clay, our creative production unit, to make a music video for their rendition of ‘Misirlou’, better known as the theme song from Pulp Fiction.
We shot on three separate days, one for the main performance, another in a greenscreen studio for the vfx, and a final one all over Brussels. We then developed a style for the graffiti look of the characters and used the greenscreen material to apply this to the exterior shots.
The film won Best Music Video at the 2012 CFP awards.
